Summer Break Goals

Today is the first day of summer vacation. While I love the "break," summer is the time that I get my real work done in my classroom. My goals for this summer:

1) Get this blog going.

2) CLEAN!
3) Delve more deeply into common core so I can refine my units.
4) Revamp my Morning Meeting Routine.
5) Revamp my Assessment Portfolios.
6) Paint my file cabinets.
Time to get moving!  My teen-aged son has volunteered to help me today, so I'm going to take him up on his offer and get that classroom cleaned!

  5. You have an adorable blog design Mary! I think I have some painting projects this summer too but I am not sure if I am ready to tackle my file cabinet!

Be sure and add a follow button when you get the chance. Go to design at the top of your blog and then layout. Choose add a gadget and then more gadgets. The follow button is #25...the last one on the page. I would love to follow you. =)

If you get the chance, I would love for you to hop over and visit me.
